How Trial Limits Work
Free tier users receive a daily and monthly allotment for each challenge type. This allows you to explore and practice before deciding to upgrade.
- Daily Limits: Reset at midnight in your local timezone
- Monthly Limits: Reset on the first of each month
- Dice Roll: One-die and two-dice attempts share the same limit
- Card Challenge: 13-card and 52-card decks share the same limit
- Divinations: Each type (Tarot, I Ching, Animal Archetype) has its own daily and monthly limit
The exact number of free attempts per day and per month for each divination type is set by the site and is shown when you reach a limit or on your subscription status page.
When you reach your limit, you'll see a message showing your usage and options to upgrade. Visit the pricing page to unlock unlimited access.

Getting Started with Divinations
All divination types are accessible from the main divination selection page. Each card shows your reading statistics and remaining trial attempts.
To begin a reading, simply click on the divination type you'd like to explore. You'll be guided through the process step by step.
AI Unified Reading
After each divination, our AI generates a Unified Reading — a flowing narrative that interprets all your cards, hexagram lines, or archetype symbolism as a single cohesive story tailored to your question.
Tier 1 — Immediate Synthesis
Generated automatically when you complete a reading. If it takes a moment to appear, you can click "Generate unified reading" on the results page. Once generated, it is saved permanently to your reading.
Tier 2 — History-Aware Synthesis Premium
A deeper interpretation that weaves in your last 30 days of readings across all three divination types (Tarot, I Ching, Animal Archetype). It identifies recurring themes and patterns a single reading cannot reveal. Use the "Deepen with my history" button on any reading with an existing unified reading.
AI Providers: We use Groq (Llama 3.3 70B) as primary, with OpenAI (GPT-4o Mini) as fallback. The model used is shown in the Unified Reading header.

How Solo Challenges Work
Choose from four challenge types: Zener Cards, Dice Roll, Coin Flip, and Card Challenge. Each challenge offers two modes:
- Psychokinesis: Select a target and use your intention to manifest it
- Telesthesia: Sense the hidden target through intuitive perception
Each attempt counts toward your daily and monthly trial limits. Results are tracked in your personal analytics dashboard.

Each challenge type has detailed help pages for both modes:
When Limits Are Exceeded
If you reach your daily or monthly limit, you'll see a message showing:
- How many attempts you've used
- When your limit resets (daily: midnight in your timezone; monthly: first of the month)
- Options to upgrade to premium for unlimited access
Divination readings (I Ching, Tarot, Animal Archetype) each have separate daily and monthly caps; the numbers are configured by the site and stored in the database. Dice roll attempts (one-die and two-dice) share the same limit, as do card challenge attempts (13-card and 52-card decks).
Audio Functionality
Use ambient focus tracks and challenge sound effects to support your sessions.
Where audio controls appear
- Account Settings: Configure defaults in Audio Preferences.
- Solo challenge play pages: Use the in-session Audio Controls panel to play/stop ambient tracks and test effects.
Main controls include Enable Sound, Ambient Track, Loop Ambient, Ambient Volume, Effects Volume, and Show audio controls on challenge pages.
Troubleshooting & sync
- If a track does not start automatically, click Play after interacting with the page (browser autoplay policy).
- When logged in, audio preferences sync across devices; otherwise they are stored locally in your current browser.

Group Challenges
Collaborate with others to explore collective consciousness.
How Group Challenges Work
Group challenges allow multiple participants to work together toward a common goal. The group administrator creates challenges and selects targets, while members contribute their intentions or perceptions.
- Dice Roll Variants: Group Dice Roll supports both One Die and Two Dice challenge setup
- Two-Dice Matching: Two-dice outcomes are evaluated with order-insensitive matching
- Active Variation Rule: One variation can be active per challenge type + mode. Deactivate the active variation before creating the other variation.
- Variant Analytics: Group analytics detailed breakdowns separate Dice Roll (One Die) and Dice Roll (Two Dice)

On the group challenges page, you'll see challenges organized by configuration (e.g., "Dice Roll - Psychokinesis (One Die)" or "Dice Roll - Psychokinesis (Two Dice)"). Each configuration shows:
- Status (Active or Inactive)
- Date created and last active date
- Aggregated success rate across all trials
- Total number of trials (with breakdown of active, completed, and cancelled)
Click "View Trials" to see individual trial details for that configuration.
Psychokinesis vs Telesthesia
Psychokinesis Mode: The administrator selects a visible target. All members focus their intention on manifesting that target. Once enough members participate, the administrator can execute the manifestation.
Telesthesia Mode: The target is hidden until after members submit their perceptions. The system reveals the target and shows how many members correctly sensed it.
Starting New Trials
Group administrators can reactivate inactive challenges or start new trials for active configurations. When a new trial begins:
- The administrator selects a new target
- Members can submit their intentions or perceptions
- Previous trial results are preserved in the trial history
The participation threshold must be met before the administrator can execute the manifestation in psychokinesis mode.
